Kazakhstan to ease visa requirements for Iranian

The Kazakh ambassador to Tehran, Askhat Orazbay, announced the ease of visa requirement for Iranian businessmen and tourists and said, "Kazakhstan's visa facilitation agreement is expected to be signed with Iran in spring 2020, follow which Iranian businessmen will receive a 90-days, and group visas will also be issued for tourists."

Iran (IMNA) - Iranian businessmen can obtain a 90-day Kazakhstan visa with a letter of the credit issued by Iran's Chamber of Commerce. Kazakhstan tourist visa will be also issued for groups of at least three members. The invitation letter has also been removed from the Kazakh tourist visa applications for Iranians.

The Kazakh ambassador to Tehran said that this action was aimed at promoting tourism ties between the two countries.

"We intend to facilitate Kazakhstan visa requirements for Iranian tourists in the coming year with the aim of increasing tourism arrivals. The visa is issued through three consulates of Kazakhstan in Tehran, Gorgan and Mashhad," Askhat Orazbay said.

He also announced the efforts to increase the number of direct flights between the two countries, adding that there is currently one weekly flight between the two countries.
