Iran (IMNA) – Mianshe or Churat lake, which is also known as "the sister lake of the Casoian" is placed near a village called "Churat". Churat Lake is located 1034 meters above the sea level with the area of 2.5 hectares. The depth of the lake depends on the seasonal rainfall.
Churat Lake is a special lake, not only due to the intact nature that has surrounded it, but also because of the way it was created. In the past, the source of spring near the lake was blocked due to an earthquake, and Churat Lake was created. Another amazing point about the lake is the existence of many different types of fish whose population has increased over the years as migratory birds transfer the eggs of fish to the lake.
When the water level of the lake decreases, the trunks of trees that were existed before, provide a wonderful view for visitors to enjoy.; the trees of this area have been underwater before the lake was created. During autumn, the green, red and yellow leaves of trees cover the surface of the lake and add to its beauty.
It is worth visiting the site as the gorgeous lake reflects the beauties of the surrounding environment. The best time to enjoy the pretty area is in spring, summer and early autumn; the lake is also a great choice for sailing.
