This palace is an example of a surviving historical building in Ilam. The palace itself has an area of 337 square meters. In the past, the perimeter around the palace was full of beautiful trees, but nowadays many buildings and streets have surrounded it.

Five rooms were built around the main hall of the palace, there is also a rectangular porch in front of the building. The floor of this structure was constructed with brick, and decorated with human and floral stucco reliefs. The roof of the entrance is placed on two columns.

Beautiful plastering in the palace attracts everybody's attention. Materials used to construct this monument are brick, wood and stone. In addition, galvanized sheets are used to make the roof. Bricks in some parts of the building have been damaged, so they are replaced with mosaics.

Now, Falahati palace is used as the office for Ministry of Agriculture Jihad of Ilam, and has changed into an agriculture museum. Therefore some people call it Agricultural Palace. It was registered in the list of Iran's National Monument in August, 1978, with the registration number of 1750.
