Iran (IMNA) – Kerman has many tourist attractions that you should not miss them: Arg-e Bam, Shazdeh Mahan Garden, Fath Abad Garden, Ganj Ali Khan Complex, Vakil Bath, and the national library of Kerman are among them.
Beside the historical sites, this city has many natural attractions like Zaban Mar valley, Qaem Park, Bangan waterfall, and Simak waterfall. Simak waterfall is located 35 kilometers north of Kerman, in foothills area. There is also a canyon under the same name in the region known as Bondor canyon.
It is three to five meters wide, and its two tall walls add to the beauty of this natural site. You can see nests of birds in the canyon walls and hear them singing. There are 13 continuously stepping waterfalls located in the Simak canyon. The height of the waterfalls is 6 to 20 meters.
In order to visit Simak waterfalls, you need special equipment and technical knowledge of climbing rocks. If you want to climb down the Simak waterfalls, you should go to Dorb Asiab village, then you can see Shahid Bahonar Recreational Camp. You should touch and climb the rocks to reach the first waterfall, after that you can rappel down the waterfalls and enjoy the beauties; be sure that it is an amazing experience.
