Concept of "child-friendly city" realized in Isfahan

"This year, organizers of the 32nd International Film Festival for Children and Youth have made their all out efforts to realize the concept of "a child-friendly city" in a real sense," Isfahan's Mayor said.

Iran (IMNA) - "The festival was not limited to some cinemas in the city, but many of them in different regions of Isfahan, especially in less populated and deprived areas, screened memorable movies of Iranian cinema so that all children would enjoy the films of the festival," Ghodratollah Nowrouzi said.

"The cinemas screening the the 32nd International Film Festival for Children and Youth have been appropriated as much as possible, so that children with disabilities can also attend the cinemas as well. The slogan "The Festival Belongs to All Children" came true at this festival," the mayor of Isfahan added. 

"Festival organizers make all out efforts to realize the concept of "a child-friendly city" in a real sense. These days the city not only hosts the festival, but organizes a children's exhibition and some educational programs. All of these events would create social excitement in the city," Nowrouzi emphasized.

During the joyful days of the festival, a group of 50 French motorcyclists arrived in Isfahan with 27 motorcycles. They crossed 14 European countries and entered Iran through Bazargan border crossing. They are going to wrap up their trip in Isfahan's Naqsh-e Jahan Square.
