Isfahan needs boom in stone industry

"We are interested in highlighting the role of industries in universities; stone and textile ones can provide the context of economic boom in the city," the head of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce said.

Iran (IMNA) – "We have no choice but paying more attention to the two subjects of work and capital in today's economic warfare," Masoud Gol Shirazi noted.

Saying that modifying the labor laws has solved the workers and investors' problems, he added, "This is the year of Production Boom, and the title of boom means increase in demand rather than supply; however, we are the witnesses of less activities of the production units in such conditions."

Pointing out that renovation of mining fleet is the most important subject of the stone industry, he continued, "We should combine machinery, technology, and international trade concepts with each other. One of the most profitable industrial sectors in Isfahan province is the stone one; if we don’t invest in such fields, goals of economic growth will not be realized."

Emphasizing on the necessity of the governmental supports regarding the currency policies, he noted, "Renovation of the production sectors requires macro policy; from production phases to the investors and sales processes; however, if we consider market and production boom, we will notice that the cooperation of economic activists and their attendance in exhibitions is of great importance as well."

"There is a disagreement among governmental organizations in Mahmoudabad Industrial Town. In a meeting with the Trustees of the Town, it was planned to hold a permanent exhibition of stone industry, with the cooperation of the private sectors," he also said about Mahmoudabad Industrial Town.
