Iran (IMNA) - This place was constructed during the reign of Aq Qoyunlu, and developed in the Safavid era. It is composed of a lake and the structure of El Goli palace; both are surrounded by a large garden and tall trees. This site was registered in Iran's National Heritage list in 2009, with the registration number of 24774, due to the national value of its mansion.
El Goli artificial lake which is 5.5 hectares wide can hold up about 720,000 cubic meters of water, it was used to irrigate the agricultural lands of the surrounding areas. The deepest part of the lake is 12 meters. The reflection of tall trees and colorful flowers in the pool adds to its beauty.
An octagonal and two-storey palace was built in the middle of the lake by the order of the ruler of that time. This wonderful and diamond-shaped structure with a small dome on top of it, used to be a courtyard for princes, but today it is a recreational center for visitors.
There are other attractive facilities that can entertain the visitors, such as golf center, billiard academy, game club, a theme park, small street shops, sports shops, and skating complex. You can also boat there in warm seasons.
