Iran (IMNA) - Earth Day was founded in 1970 as a special occasion to pay more attention to the environmental issues. The aim of global observances is to promote respect for the planet as well as to raise awareness of the growing problems of pollution and the negative effects of climate change on the environment.
To honor the day, most people sign petitions, plant trees, clean up their towns, spend time at local parks and create recycled art projects to highlight their attention to the health of our planet Earth.
With the hope of safer, richer, cleaner and healthier planet, we all together say:
