Iran (IMNA) - "The local dishes include Ash-e doogh or what is known as Gevene (Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province specific food), and parched wheat (popular New Year's refreshment)," said Mahmoud Bagheri.
Director General of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism organization said that the production of traditional Lily dolls in this province has been restored after years of recession and forgetfulness.
"Recognizing the active artists in this field and providing bank facilities to set up production units for making Leily dolls are among the revival approaches that have been taken so far," he added while addressing to the dolls as the symbol of the province's local girls wearing colorful costumes.
"So far, six natural sites, 57 spiritual works, 30 museum objects and 675 historical monuments of Kohgiluyeh and Vahir Ahammad Province have been registered in Iran's national heritage list.
