Isfahan's relief packages on way of flood-hit Khuzestan province

"The first relief packages of Isfahan municipality were delivered to Khuzestan for the flood victims yesterday," the managing director of Organizing Urban Jobs and Agricultural Products department of Isfahan municipality said.

Iran (IMNA) – Expressing sympathy with people of Khuzestan whose properties have been damaged due to the inundation, Mohammad Majiri noted, "Our compatriots' lives are threatened and it is very painful for us to see they are in trouble. Therefore, we will not hesitate to help the flood victims."

"It was planned to send two trucks of required items to flood-stricken areas of Khuzestan, with the cooperation of beneficiaries of Kosar markets which are affiliated to Isfahan municipality," he added.

"Two relief packages including mineral water, different types of canned food,  sanitary napkin and diaper packages, with the cost of 800 million Rial have been sent to the flood-hit areas of Khuzestan province," he continued.

Saying that supporting flood victims is a public duty in society, he also said, "Fortunately, people and authorities have showed their solidarity and unity to the world by helping the flood-hits areas of the country."
