Make dubsmash, win cash grants

The "Teenager House" affiliated to the Cultural, Social, and Sports organization of Isfahan municipality hosts a Dubsmash competition.

Iran (IMNA) – "A Dubsmash Competition for teenagers will be held under the title of "Avang Javani" by Isfahan's Teenager House," the head of the Teenager House affiliated to the Cultural, Social, and Sports organization of Isfahan municipality said.

"The approach of this program is to promote Isfahan's popular culture. Teenagers can ask their grandparents to tell a story, poem, memory, or proverb, then teenagers should audio dubbing or lip-syncing to the video tape," Asma Sadat Nekoee added.

"Teenagers should send their dubsmash videos to the following address; a_nojavan98. Dubsmash competition will be held during the cultural week of Isfahan, and cash grants will be awarded to three best works," she noted.

"One of the purposes of running the competition is strengthening the relationship between the present and past generation. Unfortunately, the today's generation doesn’t communicate with the past one very much, and teenagers don’t know the Isfahan's specific popular domestic culture, old stories and proverbs; therefore, holding programs like this will help to promote the culture," she said regarding the purposes of holding the Dubsmash competition.

"The deadline for sending Dubsmash videos to the secretariat is the end of April, the maximum length for videos should be 60 seconds," she also said.
