Iran (IMNA) - "We are happy to be at the service of our compatriot. The concept of Nowrouz is always mated with the concept of having journey; travelers and hosts" the deputy for radio broadcasting noted.
"We should not consider traveling as an expensive hobby; there are low-cost places around Iran to travel to. Radio Safar will narrate events related to tourism fields," he continued.
"Travelling can changes our life; we hope that people pay special attention to the matter of travelling, and authorities provide adequate context in this regard. Investigating various aspects of traveling helps to promote the quality and quantity of trips; we will provide the necessary context to reach this goal" he added.
"By considering the fact that we are on the eve of the New Year, and people are going to have journeys around the country, the deputy department for radio broadcasting decided to open Radio Safar. The purpose of inaugurating this station is informing Nowrouz travelers," Salman Eskandari, the director of Radio Safar said.
"According to schedules, Radio Safar will be broadcasted at the frequency of 95.5 MHz, wave FM from March 11 to April 9, for round-the-clock," he added.
