Chadegan County is located at 115 kilometers to the west of Isfahan. The historical record of this area is not well defined, but what is certain is that Turkish people moved to this area during the Safavid era, by the order of Shaha Abbas I. Chadegan is a flourishing area due to its favorable natural situation and its proximity to the Zayandeh-Rood River.

Iran (IMNA) - The ancient name of Chadegan was Paratak and it was considered as one of the most delightful areas. Chadegan is made up of two parts of "Chad" and "Gan"; Chad is a Turkish word meaning valley, and Gan is a relative suffix.

The emergence of this county was not only based on the historical or political drivers, but also due to suitable conditions of the natural environment. The Zayandeh-Rood River is the most important factor of emerging Chadegan County.

Recreational village of Zayandeh-Rood River is one of the most beautiful promenades of Isfahan province. Certain amenities such as canoe pier, sports ground, commercial complexes, restaurants, traditional teahouses, and swimming pools have been launched in this complex.

As Chadegan County is situated over low hills, it enjoys an attractive appearance. The hills preserve farms, gardens, and control the development of residential areas in the agricultural texture of this city.

The historical attractions of this county include Moazam al-Molk house, old bathhouse of Nadi, Oregan Bridge, Oregan Jamhe mosque, Kave Ahangar's tomb, and the 500-years tower of Mashhad Kaveh.
