Iran (IMNA) - "This global contest included two parts of satire and lampoon with the subject of stoppage. Mr. Miraee on behalf of Tehran won the grand prize of this festival; it's a pleasure for us," the director of Isfahan's Caricature House noted.
Saying that this festival is one of the most prestigious caricature events in the world, Pourfallah added, "The presence of caricaturists in global festivals around the world has been growing in recent years, and they have gained 15 to 20 domestic and foreign awards so far. The attendance of women is more notable compared to the past, and the number is increasing each year."
"We recognize talented people and get acquainted with caricaturists around the world by attending in various festivals; it has a very important role in gaining experiences," he also said.
