"The aim of Choosing two emerging attractions of "Hasht Behesht" and "Abbasi" edifices as the cultural passages of Isfahan, was to increase the number of tourists," the researcher and the head of urban planning and architecture faculty of Isfahan university said.

Saying that urban open spaces are the most important places for citizens, Mohammad Masoud emphasized, "Cultural values of cities are the columns of their cultural spaces. The more cultural urban spaces and edifices in the cities, the more domestic and foreign tourists will arrive."

"Open urban spaces and cultural places can have a great role in promoting tourism potentials and cultural capacities of the city," he noted. "Usually, when tourists visit the historical attractions of a city, it is less likely that those tourists travel again to back to the previous visited sites; however, announcing the opening of the new cultural passages and attractions like cultural edifices of Hasht Behesht and Abbasi can increase tourists' incentives to visit them," he also said.
