Iran (IMNA) – Fabio Carbone, a professor at Coventry University in England, who has held two meetings with the subject of "Peace and Tourism" in cooperation with Iran's academic and scientific centers since the beginning of this year, said in an interview, "this center which at least is 30 years old, is conducting innovative and effective researches regarding expanding trust, peace, and social relations, and believes that we can proceed to strengthen peaceful relations and human security through discussion and building trust. The main purpose of this institute is developing peace through tourism industry. We think that Iran has many capacities in this field, and can play an important role in developing peace and tourism industry."
"I am from Italy; a country which is the home of tangible and oral cultural heritages. If I'm honest, I should say that I don’t see historical and cultural specific originality and authenticity in Italy anymore, but, you can still find some people in Iran who are noble and respect the values. That's why I love Iran and I'm happy that I help the tourism development in the future of Iran. I'm sure a giant leap will be taken in Iran's tourism industry, maybe during 5 or 10 years later," he added.
