Iran's second female ambassador appointed from Sunni Baloch

"Make people feel worried and disappointed is not the way," the Iranian First Vice President said.

Iran (IMNA) – "Sistan and Baluchestan has hidden capacities and obvious  deprivation," Eshagh Jahangiri said in a meeting regarding investigating the problems of Sistan and Baluchestan province. "Many measures have been taken out over the years to improve the infrastructures and urban development in this city, but more activities are needed," he added.

"The plans of the government for multilateral and comprehensive development of this province include paying special attention to providing enough budget for transportation systems, road and railways, and investigating the cultural, artistic, and cultural and tourism heritage issues," he noted.

Pointing to the importance of water, he added, "Some measures have been considered for boundary waters in order to prevent water loss in this province." Referring to the water right of Hirmand River, he said, "The issue of water right is serious in such a way that Islamic Republic of Iran will discuss with the neighboring country of Afghanistan in this regard."

Considering the manpower as an important factor of development, he continued, "Sistan and Baluchestan has great capacities regarding manpower which should be used to improve this province."
