Isfahan (IMNA) - "Representative office of ministry of foreign affairs in Isfahan is attempting to follow up provincial authorities' trips to other countries and facilitate the provision of adequate context in this regard ", Ali Reza Salarian said in an interview with IMNA.
Pointing out that so little attention paid to "out of home travels" in last management period, he added, "when the Isfahan's council crop traveled to St. Petersburg, a council from St. Petersburg also traveled to Isfahan to keep the mutual relations."
Saying that we are interacting closely with Isfahan's Cultural Heritage organization about tourism, he continued, "we are attempting to establish a marketing board; to reach the end, we have held several meetings in the Chamber of Commerce".
Emphasizing on the importance of paying attention to tourism infrastructures in Isfahan, Salarian said, "we believe that there is a need to create tourism infrastructures and meet the related needs in order to provide suitable services for tourists; but unfortunately we even can't provide sufficient services to few tourists travelling to Isfahan due to the limited infrastructures".
"Tourists can receive visa in two ways; they can either go to Iranian embassies or refer to the destination airport to get their visas", Salarian said. "But before travelling to Iran, a tourist should visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website to complete the form of electronic visa page, after that he/she will receive some forms; receiving such form indicates that the visa has been accepted by the destination airport", he continued.
