"Civil society organizations are taking roots in Iran, and choosing November 22 as Isfahan Day is a success and victory for all Isfahani people," a former Isfahan university professor said.

Isfahan (IMNA) – Pointing to holding honoring ceremony of Isfahan Day, Mahdi Keivan said, "Every step that is taken to honor Isfahan Day is a positive step. There have been disagreements regarding the cooperation between Isfahan municipality and Isfahan-lovers community since the past time, but due to the resistance of Isfahan Day's followers, November 22 was chosen as Isfahan Day."

"The time of doing individual works is over, and we should move toward the institutionalization, he added, "Civil and urban organizations annunciate a good future, and I insist on a civil movement. Choosing November 22, as Isfahan Day is the result of the cooperation between the municipality and NGOs."

Saying that despite these problems, some measures have been taken out to solve them, he emphasized, "the lack of "thinking concept" is highly obvious in the country. The social thought should be changed, and we must avoid the superstition views."

"The first way to reach the perfection is separating superstition from fact. In that case, the right path will be found," he added.
