Isfahan (IMNA) – The meeting of the managers of cultural organizations in Isfahan was held concerning the "Isfahan Day" celebration on November 22, with the presence of the mayor of Isfahan, the members of the city council, and the cultural managers of general department of the cultural heritage organization of Isfahan province with the cooperation of cultural department of the municipality.
"The necessary investigations regarding the case of Isfahan Day have been carried out in the meeting of registration council of the general department of the cultural heritage organization of the province. Proposal of dedicating a special day to Isfahan has been approved by the members of the Islamic city council of Isfahan, and it has been sent to Iran's National Monuments Council for the final registration process and receiving the registration number," Seyed Ali Saleh Derakhshan noted.
Emphasizing on holding Isfahan Day in a magnificent manner, he added, "Undoubtedly, holding the ceremony of Isfahan Day on November 22, has been the wish of many Isfahan and cultural heritage lovers for more than two decades. Therefore, we are very pleased that the related authorities have accepted to register November 22 as Isfahan Day, after scientific investigations and also considering the cultural heritage lovers and experts' opinions."
