Isfahani wushu practitioners grab gold medals in 9th Sanda World cup champions

Shahrbanoo and Elahe Manasourian, the Wushu practitioner from Semirom bagged gold medals in the 9th Sanda World cup champions.

Isfahan (IMNA) – Iran's team shine bright in the 9th Sanda World Cup. Iran's team consisted of five men and three women among which three dispatched women of the national practitioners, Elaheh Mnasurian and Shahrbanoo Mansourian competed in the women's minus 52-kilogram and minus 65- kilograms categories respectively.

Shahrbanoo Mansourian defeated her Egyptian opponent to gain the first gold medal of Iran's national team in this prestigious tournament. Shahrbanoo had earlier beaten her Indian rival "Doi Kisham" from India. "Elaheh Mansourian also knocked out Aljerian representative, who was the champion in two earlier tournaments, in the minus 52 kilograms," Soheila Mansourian said.

Finally, Iran's national team gold medalists were as follow; Elaheh Mansourian, Shahrbanou Mansourian and Farinaz Naziri, Yusef Sabri, Moein Taqavi, Milad Arefi Maqam, Mohsen Mohammad Seifi.
