Isfahan (IMNA) – Referring to "art" as a missing chain in the city, he said, "providing a space to bring Isfahani artists together is our concern and it has been addressed in the meeting with Isfahani masters and artists. Now with opening up the "Artists' Mansion", we hope that this action will be the beginning of the better and bigger events. I am optimistic that we can turn Isfahan into a best city for art lovers as it used to be in the past.
"Unfortunately, high levels of depression among Isfahani people has been reported in comparison to other cities; but even worseو due to the lack of water in the Zayandeh-rood river, the depression rate is increasing, so we need the artist's help in this regard," Farideh Roshan, the head of cultural commission of Isfahan city council said.
"The successful completion of an activity highly depends on the skill of the responsible experts; in a historical metropolis like Isfahan which is the cradle of Iran's culture and art, there should be more attention to allocating special spaces for artists," Roshan emphasized.
"Art and music are the most important elements that can help people in Isfahan and save them from depression," she noted.
