Isfahan (IMNA) - Emphasizing on this fact that some problems of the Zayandeh-Rood River are caused by out-of-province factors, Ghorbanali Ghaemi said, "All water problems are not related to Isfahan province, while some of the previous managers propounded the lack of budget and the domestic problems, we have visited the dam and tunnel many times. One of the honors of the government of "wisdom and hope" was forming task force for water shortage adaptation that was implemented throughout the country, and everybody concludes that our country is located in a low-water area and we should save water by all means."
"Unfortunately, there has not been even a drop of water in river bed since some years ago in Isfahan; we should keep in mind that Isfahan is an international city, and tourists and people who have seen the river full of water, see it dry today. Current drought condition will damage trees and runnels of Isfahan. We should bring back the vitality to Isfahan by reviving the Zayande-Rood River," he said regarding the damages to the cultural heritage of the province caused by the water shortage.
