IMNA - "Since the beginning of this summer up to now, 125 thousand suburban transportation service such as bus, minibus and taxis, have transferred passengers through five urban terminals," Abbas Mahboobi said.
Kaveh terminal provides daily services to120 different geographical regions of the country and Sofeh terminal services have been allocated for transferring passengers to60 different parts of the country. Mentioning to the existence of two hotels in Kaveh and Sofeh terminals, this official said: "five thousand passengers have been accommodated at these two hotels."
Pointing to the appropriate measures being taken by this organization with regard to beautification of the city terminals, he said: "painting walkways, curbs, railings and walls and also partial and complete repairing of different part of these terminals, seasonal flowers planting and trees and shrubs pruning , completion of the entrance and exit lighting project of the urban train stations at Kaveh terminal are among the accomplished activities of this organization during summer days."
Refering to the complete and round the clock readiness of the personnel in the terminals, he continued: "the health officer of the organization holds sufficient supervision on distributed edible items in booths and restaurants. The police forces are also based in terminals for the enhancement of security and welfare of the passengers."
