German filmmaker amazed by watching Iranian films

In an interview with the reporter at the news headquarters of Iran’s 31st International Film Festival for Children and Youth, Julia Ocker said she has so far watched several Iranian films and have been amazed by watching them.

Isfahan (IMNA)-  Ocker, who is a jury member of the international short animation and feature movies of the festival, said that the Iranian directors work passionately to produce proper films for children and the youth.   

Ocker also expressed her satisfaction for participating in the festival, adding that holding a film gathering just for children and youth is    good decision.  Ocker is the director and designer of the animation. She was born in 1982 in Fursheim, Germany. From 2003 to 2005, she studied graphic design in Fursheim and Cairo and from 2006 to 2012 at the Academy of the Baden-Wurtberg Film.

Ocker has produced wide range of films from dramatic black and horrible dramas like "Clarkeyd" to a highly entertaining and comedic film like "The Giraffe." In 2017, Ocker produced an animated collection called "Animals" which she likes it very much.
