UNICEF representative in Iran appreciates Isfahan municipality's actions

The head of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Iran and the deputy of urban planning and architecture of Isfahan municipality visited Chaharbagh Abbasi pavement.

Isfahan (IMNA) – The deputy of urban planning and architecture of Isfahan municipality described the role and position of Isfahan in different historical eras to Will Parks, and said, "The pavement project of Chaharbagh is a social and cultural recreation of a historical path that is defined and implemented in several different phases."

Saying that Isfahani citizens, domestic and foreign tourists welcomed the Chaharbagh pavement, Seyed Ahmad Hosseini Nia added, "Coincidence with the 31st International Film Festival for Children and Youth, the atmosphere of Chaharbagh Abbasi Avenue became very pleasant and fresh due to the crowd of people there."

"The priority of the presence of human than cars in Isfahan urban space, especially in this important historical area that is considered as the backbone of Isfahan, will be the inspiration of creativity," he said.

Will Parks, the UNICEF representative in Iran, appreciated Isfahan municipality's actions, especially the measures that the deputy of urban planning and architecture has taken so far and said hopefully that "the modern approaches in the municipality's system will be the source of the new actions in Isfahan."
