Isfahan (IMNA) – Most of the water resources have been wasted due to the wrong method of irrigation in the agricultural sector, and most parts of these resources have also been used in domestic use due to the mismanagement. "Concerning the existence of many gardens and trees in Khansar, irrigation should be done under the correct management," Khansar governor said.
"Regarding water consumption management in the county, 7 crisis management session have been held since last February, and suitable enactments have been approved in the crisis management headquarter," Seyed Hassan Shafaati added. Pointing that using urban wastewater in the industrial sector instead of drinking water is other water consumption management, he said, "Equipping the irrigation system for agriculture with the new irrigation system has put on the agenda with the support of the government and the efforts of agriculture Jihad organization."
Saying that new methods should be applied to irrigate the county's gardens, Khansar governor said, "In order to irrigate the 11 kinds of trees which are grown in Khansar County, all the water of the Khansar spring should be under the control of the crisis management headquarter of the county to share it among the farmers." Referring that water wells should be used correctly, he mentioned, "Four drinking water wells have been polluted in Khansar County that they should be added to the irrigation cycle of the trees."
