Isfahan (IMNA) - “To improve the current situation, the studies and research center of Islamic city council of Isfahan has conducted studies with the corporation of Isfahan Water and Sewerage Company. Therefore, the current water crisis can be managed by implementing expert plans,” Kourosh Khosravani said.
“According to the conducted studies, if all Isfahan citizens use water-reducing devices during100 days of summer, 10 million cubic meters of water which is equal to the required water for green space will be saved during this period of time,” he said.
The head of research center of Islamic city council of Isfahan urged citizens to change the way of using evaporative coolers and said, “If Isfahan citizens pay attention to the recommendations about reduction of water consumption of evaporative coolers, 3 to 6 million cubic meters of water will also be saved during 100 days of summer,” He said.
Stating that by implementing water saving methods, we will save 16 million cubic meters of water, Khosravi added, “Isfahan Water and Sewerage Company has provided some facilities for Isfahan citizens; water-reducing devices are provided with the price of 60 thousand Toman and the costs of these devices will be added in the water and sewer bill in installment method.
