Isfahan (IMNA) - "It is necessary for all of us to maintain the peace, observe fairness, respect for justice in our city, and avoid divisive behaviors in order to provide people a peaceful place of rest and comfort which is also safe and ordered," Qodratollah Norouzi said.
By expressing that during the recent months he has communicated and interacted with local people in different ways and also has appeared in different communities, the mayor of Isfahan said: "In the recent months, there has been 30 specialized meetings with different groups of people called " Esfahan-e Farda (Isfahan in the future)" and we have taken advantage of local comments."
Meeting with citizens
Stating that, the municipalities have scheduled to hold weekly meetings with people live in different districts of Isfahan, Norouzi said:" Undoubtedly, urban management needs the help of all people and we seek to get the support from them to build the city with citizens' empathy and cooperation."
He referred to the recent civil development activities of Isfahan municipality and said:" Despite many problems that we have had over the past time, we have succeeded to construct two kilometers of the fourth ring during the last seven months with the help of God and the efforts of our colleagues in the civil sections."
Stating that the unfinished project of Ashkavand intersection has been completed by allocating the credit of 70 billion Rials, the mayor of Isfahan noted: "The remaining 70% of the exit intersection of Isfahan Summit Conference Hall is completed with a credit of 60 billion Rials but has not been officially opened." The construction operations of the 7th bridge of the first line of the subway in Esteghlal Square began in March 2018, and 60% of it has been completed so far." he added.
107 ongoing projects
Norouzi also mentioned some of developmental activities of Isfahan municipality such as 30% progression of the international fair and 79% progression of the eight-hectare Padise Honar Park projects over the past seven months with the amount of 120 billion Rials allocated for phases two and three and said: "Another part of the project of turning Chaharbagh Avenue to a pavement with the amount of 160 billion Rials is finished and is ready for use by citizens."
"Currently, about 107 projects includes building streets and pavements, athletic clubs, cultural centers, and many other projects with the value of over 3 trillion Rials are under construction," he added.
