Isfahani's Short Film on the Way to Colombia and Italy

The short film of "Gray Umbrella" directed and produced by an Isfahai filmmaker, Mohammad Pootindouz, will be shown in the 11th Corti a Point short film festival in Italy and the 18th International Cine a La Calle Short Film Festival in Colombia.

Isfahan (IMNA)_ According to the public relations association of the  Iran Youth Cinema Society, "Gray Umbrella" tells the story of Mr. Maleki, who has a constant habit until a man comes into his life with an umbrella. The screenplay of this short film is a loose adaptation of the story "There's  a Man in the Habit of Hitting Me on the Head with an Umbrella". 


The film also won the best Short Film Award at the 40th Annual American Film Festival, which was held in Dallas in May 5 till May 9 and won the best film of the 11th Festival of Short Film Festival in Turkey's Inonu University.


Mohammad Pootindouz, has produced and directed this film based on the screenplay by Mehdi Azizi, and with the help of the project executive, the Isfahan Young Cinema Society, Ali Hosseinzadeh, the cinematographer, Ali Kazeminezhad, the sound mixer, and Hasan Kuchaki, the film editor. Akbar Shafiee has played in this film and Shahram Makari was the art consultant.
