Isfahan (IMNA) _ “On the occasion of the international museum day and the cultural heritage week, visiting all the museums and the historical-cultural places under the coverage of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism organization is free for the public on Friday, May 18,” Mohammreza Kargar stated.
Expressing that free visit of museums are announced 3 to 5 times every year regarding various special events, the director of museum affairs and cultural-historical properties of Iran cultural heritage, handcrafts and tourism organization added, “The announced free visit of museums is due to the fact that, first of all, encourage people to visit the museums.
On the other hand, maybe some people cannot afford to pay even thousand Tomans for the tickets or they may not be interested in spending money on museums. However, announcing free visiting of the museums, at least five times in a year, gives the opportunity to the public to visit the museums.
