Isfahan (IMNA) _ Hamid Farahmand Borujeni stated: “The existence of urban symbols increases the sense of belonging to the hometown, and as the sense of belonging among people increases, the society identity will be more strengthened."
While emphasizing that identity is one of the social vitality factors, he added: “One of the solutions that municipalities of all successful cities have provided is to preserve and restore their urban symbols and appreciate them; valuing the urban symbols make the new generation to love the city and its cultural heritage.
The professor of Art University of Isfahan continued: "The essence of this action, putting it back in urban space, help to maintain the citizens’ identity and increase the hope and vitality among people in the city."
