Isfahan (IMNA) _ in a news conference at the end of the Cultural Week which was held in the conference hall of the Central Library of Isfahan this morning, on May 5, Farideh Roshan stated: "It is our duty to maintain this position and to preserve this heritage."
She continued: The slogan “The City that I love” was selected regarding the Cultural Week of Isfahan to portray the sense of citizenship and belonging, and all the organizers of this event have also tried to manifest this slogan in the best form.
She identified three elements of approach, form, structure, and content to evaluate the quality of the Cultural Week programs of Isfahan, and said: "According to the estimates, the Islamic Council of Isfahan, as a supervisor and policymaker, considers the programs to be in line with the predetermined policies and it hopes that such programs will continue."
She reminded the elite commemoration and invitation of intellectuals from countries such as; France, Sweden, and Afghanestan, and said: "In the executing of the Cultural Week programs, both the specialized and the general aspects were taken into consideration by the organizers.
Criticizing the poor participation of cultural institutions in executing Cultural Week programs, Roshan stated: " The Culture and Islamic Guidance Department and the Department of Education of Isfahan province in cooperation with the cultural, social, and sport organization of the municipality of Isfahan should form an ecosystem in order to analyze the needs of the citizens, and meet these needs in a balanced way."
She added: “It was expected that the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Organization will have a better coverage of the programs, and we hope this partnership will increase in the coming years.”
