20 Monuments Restoration Projects in Western Isfahan

Manager of Cultural Heritage Organization of Chadegan in Isfahan announced the beginning of 20 simultaneous projects of restoring monuments in Chadegan, the western city of Isfahan.

IMNA reports from the Public Relations Bureau of Isfahan Province, quoting Nourollah Abdollahi: the mentioned projects include restoring Moazam-olmolk House, historical bathhouse in Oragan village, three historical mosques in Chehel-cheshmeh and Ali-Abad villages, bathhouse and tower in Mashad-e Kaveh village, historical bathhouse in Geshniz-djan village, etc.   

He also named the restoration of the Oragan historical bridge as an outstanding project. “The bridge is considered as the first historical bridge at the source of Zayandeh-Roud River”, he explained and added that the closing of the restoration work was held in early September with the attendance of the Provincial Director General of Isfahan Cultural Heritage and urban authorities.

Abdollahi brought his speech to an end by mentioning that the restoration works of the monuments in Chadegan were done within a budget of $2.5 million. The said expense will be provided by the presidential travel credits, he clarified.
