Alireza Nasr-Esfahani, the interim head, in an interview with IMNA reporter declared: after passing all the legal steps, the minuets of the meeting were supposed to be signed by the City Councilors; it was then to be delivered to Isfahan Governor.
He then detailed: Isfahan governor had sent the decree to the Interior Ministry two days ago, and continued: the Interior Ministry is legally supposed to issue the decree within 10 days.
Nasr-Esfahani elsewhere brought up: the 5th City Council members called for a conceptual change in commissions, but stated later: the commission changes should undergo the internal regulations of the councils based on article 91 of the Iranian constitution, so a 5-councilor panel must propose the mentioned changes in the plenary meeting to be ratified and executed.
The top-ranking authority finally informed the people that two of the councilors are also scheduled to be soon elected as the suburban cities’ councilors.
