Iranian film praised in Hollywood Festival

The Iranian film 'If You Go Away' was awarded a prize in the US Hollywood Short Film Festival.

‘If You Go Away’ directed by Soheila Golestani received its second international prize in the Hollywood Short Film Festival. 

The film, shot on locations in the northern Iran, narrates the difficulties the war refugees faced. 

It had previously won the Best Movie Award at the Tampere Film Festival 2017 in Finland.

'If You Go Away' will also be screened in the Virtual Reality Festival of Australia on August 29.

The film is the first Iranian fiction film produced using 360 degrees virtual reality technique.

The 13th Hollywood Short Film Festival was held on August 10-19 in Los Angles.
