IMNA quotes the development deputy while speaking at the live radio talk show named 'Here is Isfahan': the municipality of Isfahan has so far implemented great number of projects everywhere in the city to improve the city into a place without mental stress for citizens.
Among the last two years' projects, 25-Aban intersection, Shahid Motahari underpass, Ahmad-Abad U-turn etc. could be named as finished projects.
Pointing to the number of urban megaprojects under execution, Mozaffar emphasized: Imam Khamenei International Conference Hall has had a 25% progress until the present day, the International Exhibition Hall 80% progress, and the 1st phase of 'Pardis Honar', meaning Cultural Garden, has witnessed an 86% progress.
The ongoing projects include Imam Ali Square to revive the heart of the city, 11 cultural centers, sports halls, kilometres of streets and pavements all over the city, the deputy explained.
He then informed the public that the municipality allocated 40% of the annual budget of development projects to the execution of Isfahan metro. "Metro first line will be fully opened to the public, extending to Sofeh and thereafter to Baharestan suburban town by the end of the current year", announced the official.
Mozaffar further considered the establishment of Shohadaye-Ashkavand as completing about 2 kms of the traffic ring road. The interchange has also widened to cut the traffic congestion.
"Isfahan Healthcare City" is also in implementation in cooperation with private sectors, 1st phase of which is completed, mozaffar made the announcement. He continued: the place is equipped with the most updated technologies to provide the patients' peace of mind.
Further in his talk, Mozaffar referred to Isteqlal megaproject as a help to lessen the traffic and better environmental conditions in districts 2 and 12. "The project succeeded to pick up the 'Golden Adobe' award for the highest quality structure in a competition between 400 highest quality projects worldwide", he again publicized.
