Ashkavand underpass widened to 36 m

Isfahan Municipality’s Deputy of Development, Iraj Mozaffar, announced: the underpass of Ashkavand interchange project was broadened to 36 meters while it used to be 12 meters.

IMNA reports from the inauguration of the Ashkavand interchange, quoting from Iraj Mozaffar: different reasons urged the municipality of Isfahan to transform the interchange to the current project, such as: the narrow road, heavy traffic, and the unattractive entrance to Isfahan.

He added: the Ashkavand interchange at Isfahan eastern beltway includes an intersection which is now the most crucial protective ring road at north eastern Isfahan.

The deputy of development then reminded that the Ashkavand interchange is now 120 thousand square meters wide, supporting all dispersed directions in the city.

Implementing this project provided the direct underpass from Ashkavand to Isfahan, stressed Mozaffar.
