Speaking to IMNA reporters at the 67th program of “Every Week, A Few openings”, Isfahan mayor inaugurated the eastern Eshragh Park and claimed: despite the critical economic conditions in the country, Isfahan has to a great extent overcome the problem which has led into full exploitations of a few urban projects weekly.
“Yet the mentioned project is not the only one opened in the city, we are also inaugurating some other projects in districts 4 and 15”, the mayor announced.
Mehdi Jamalinejad later mentioned the “Nokhodi Mount” as a future hangout for athletes. This site is planned to develop into a multipurpose recreational center whose memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed with Mostazafan Foundation, he explained.
Referring to the frequent establishment of urban projects, Jamalinejad said: God’s help and efforts of city council members led to open the first phase of Isfahan first metro line; line two is under construction as well.
Ashkavand interchange as well as Isteqlal intersection will be opened to the public soon, he continued.
He further informed people that the international exhibition and town of health are among the other projects to be established soon, each of which has been constructed at over 100 billion toman (about $27 million).
He brought his presentation to an end by grateful thanking to the mayor of district 4, and counted people’s encouragement as the main cause of rapid progress of the projects.
