She said that Iran and Kazakhstan have cultural relations in the fields of academic, art as well as national archives and library, so to seize the opportunity to extend relations in the sector of archives and writings.
Boroujerdi pointed to the arrival of a Kazakh academic team to Iran in September to attend workshop on archives protection and said that such relations could be defined in a wider arena.
Arystanbek Mukhamediuly expressed pleased for being in Iran and visiting the NLAI and extended his desire for expanding ties in this field.
He invited Iranian researchers to visit research centers in Almaty and Astana in Kazakhstan.
Head of National Library and Archives Organization of Iran (NLAI) Ashraf Boroujerdi in a meeting with Kazakhstan Minister of Culture and Sports Arystanbek Mukhamediuly here on Wednesday said the two countries are in a position to extend their cultural ties.
