MoU on metro lines inked between Isfahan Municipality & Mostazafan Foundation

The municipality of Isfahan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mostazafan Foundation (a well-known charitable foundation in the Islamic Republic of Iran) on enhancing the 1st and 3rd metro lines in Isfahan. The ceremony was held in Isfahan provincial office.

The MoU was contracted in a meeting attended by the head of Mostazafan Foundation, Isfahan governor and the mayor, Mehdi Jamalinejad. The head of Isfahan City Council and other related managers were also present at the ceremony.

The contract was regarding the executive operations of the tunnel structure, the bridge, stations of line 1 from Qods Sq. extending to the University of Isfahan at about 5.4 kms in length, and stations of line 3 from Azadi Sq. to the south-western passenger terminal with a length of 8.8 kms.

Referring to the conditions of the MoU, Isfahan governor Rasoul Zargar-Pour confirmed: the financial resources of the inked contracts regarding the metro lines and stations are available as 80 % non-cash and 20% cash. Details on the issue are well clarified.

Rasoul Zargar-Pour reminded that it is mentioned in the contract that the governor’s office and the City Council will do all necessity proceedings to accelerate the process of obtaining licenses of contracts.
