Phase 3 of Isfahan 1st metro line to run by July 23

Isfahan mayor, Mehdi Jamalinejad announced: following the twofold effort and the boom in Isfahan civil engineering, huge projects of the city are about to finish and countdown to inaugurations has started.

Mehdi Jamalinejad joined the live radio program named “Sedaye-Shahr”, meaning Voice of the City, on Thursday and transferred some good news to his Isfahani compatriots while answering their questions, IMNA reported.   

The mayor first pointed to the atmospheric conditions of Isfahan, saying: due to Isfahan’s dry weather, dust and sand have been increased around the city, entering the city by the wind blows.

He confirmed: City authorities will manipulate the issue after a dusty day for people. “As soon as the wind storm is out, the municipality service workers will start washing the city trees”, he reminded.  

The mayor further mentioned the 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth (ICFF) in Isfahan and added: we hosted the festival so well that many domestic and foreign guests expressed satisfaction over the event.

30 ICFF once again tied families with cinemas  

Jamalinejad reminded that children and youth used to join the cinemas with their schools in past rounds of the ICFF, this year however they watched films along with their families, causing the reconciliation with cinemas one more time.

He expressed hope that Isfahan will be the venue for next rounds of ICFF.

“Infrastructural project did not even been halted during the festival week, and the program of ‘Every Week, A Few Openings’ continued as usual”, Jamalinejad explained.

Referring to the Athletic Culture’s Day, the mayor stated: Isfahan municipality fortunately held detailed special programs on the mentioned occasion.

“Isfahan traffic software was unveiled last week in the presence of the Director General to Ministry of Roads and Transportation of Iran”, mentioned Jamalinejad further in his speech and quoted from the Director General: “Isfahan makes an example for other metropolises on traffic issues as well as the municipality’s performance in mechanized pedestrian overpass, elevators on BRT ways, and separated cycle lanes.”

The mayor then explained how the online traffic software helps Isfahani inhabitants: people can, by the use of the software, find directions to educational and sport centers, recreation centers, hospitals, parking capacities, hotels, and even public services such as bakeries, banks, ATMs etc.  

He then assured citizens that they will be provided with whatsoever requirements they may have through the earlier said software and added that the software which is unveiled in Isfahan for the first time nationwide, is available in Bazaar application on cellphones to be downloaded.  

Great urban projects undergo final stages

Referring to the 97% progress of Ashakavan Brideg, Golestan-e-Shohada Hall, executive operations of 1st phase of Pardis Honar, and non-official exploitation of phase 3 of Isfahan 1st metro line, Isfahan mayor confirmed: after elapsing a month of experimental runs, the third phase will carry passengers by July 23th.

“Today (Thursday), we will answer all the questions of residents of district 15 through the Accountability Campaign”, he ended his talk.
