Quds Day is a symbol of national awareness

Isfahan mayor, Mehdi Jamali Nejad invited all the nation to take part in the Quds Day rallies, while he considered the day as a symbol of awareness for all his compatriots.

IMNA News Agency quotes some parts of the mayor’s message:

It has been years that Jerusalem as the first Qiblah of Muslims is occupied by those who are so-called Moslims only and are symbols of evil, the enemy who is murdering the innocent Palestinian children, acting oppressively towards the widowed whose husbands have been killed for the liberation of the holy Quds.

Dr. Jamali Nejad also reminded the significance of marking Quds Day initiated by the Founder of the Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini held by world Muslims on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, continuing: This great move is aimed at nullifying the old policies of the world aggressive power, the Zionist regime, as well as rising up in groups of public movements to set justice worldwide.
