CFF to be held in Isfahan with 40 foreign representatives

The Administration Manager of the 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth, Hossein Ali Shahidi, announced that the festival of the ongoing year will kick off in the presence of 40 representatives from foreign countries.

“No effort will be spared to celebrate this great cultural festival as glorious as possible”, stated Shahidi in an interview with IMNA reporter.  

Referring that the festival’s films will be screened in different cinemas of Isfahan, Shahidi reminded: Specialized workshops and forums are also scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the event.

The administrative manager expressed his satisfaction over the quality and quantity of the films reached the festival’s secretariat and added: Products of Isfahani filmmakers will also be released in next year.   

Hossein Ali Shahidi pointed to the 40 films from Isfahani directors participating in the festival and emphasized that supporting domestic film products has long been among the goals of Children’s Festivals which is now to be fulfilled in the coming festival.

Elsewhere in his talk, Shahidi mentioned the process of training teenage referees for the festival and continued: These youngsters are going to be identified during the following festival as shining examples for the country’s cinema industry in near future.  

The Administration Manager of the 30th Children’s Film Festival informed people that 77 Iranian and 88 non-Iranian films are going to be shown during the festival, which are 165 films in total.
