Another BRT line launched/ Isfahan

In another program of “Every week, A Few Openings”, in the presence of urban managers and media staff, a new BRT line from Imam Ali Sq. to Arghavanieh passenger terminal is set up. This project, which is done regarding the development of services, adds 30 buses to the fleet of Isfahan public buses.

According to IMNA, since the time that the so-called rapid buses came to our city, they have brought speed and security for the citizens’ transportation. These lovely giant buses relieve people’s stress caused by being stuck in traffic and make daily commutes easy for them.

Another BRT system is in Jey St, from Arghavanieh to Imam Ali Sq., 99% of its construction is completed and is ready to be opened.

Up until the current time, the cameras and electronic gates are installed, BRT stops are finished and the roadway infrastructures and the safety parts are done and also 50% of its fleet is provided.

This line is 10 Kilometers and has 18 stops and it is estimated to have a traffic of 500 thousand passengers on a daily basis. Further, BRT buses are anticipated to run at 2-minute intervals, so we hope that such a fast system reduces the number of personal cars on the streets.

These projects have made people trust and use them more frequently as one of the best choices of travelling throughout the city, due to their unique features such as: economical ticket prices, desired speed, and high safety.
