Bombs, Missiles Cannot Force Iranian Nation to Surrender

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said bombs and missiles cannot force the Iranian nation to surrender, stressing that internal divisions would instead serve the enemy’s objectives.

Iran (IMNA) – “Bombs and missiles can’t force a nation to surrender, but if we become divided internally, the enemy will achieve its goal,” Pezeshkian said on Thursday during a ceremony marking National Nurses Day.

The Iranian president warned against enemy plots to exploit internal divisions and existing problems in an effort to weaken the country’s power and unity.

He stressed that the Iranian people had decided to stand firm against their adversaries, who are intensifying pressure on the country through various means, including restrictions on transportation and communication routes.

“The enemy believed that electricity, water and gas shortages, fuel issues, environmental challenges, banking problems, budget deficits, and pension fund issues could divide Iranian society. However, the people’s resilience and solidarity proved these expectations wrong,” he added.

Pezeshkian praised the sacrifices of the country’s nurses and other medical personnel, as well as those who stood firm under the most difficult circumstances to safeguard the country’s security and territorial integrity.

He also urged officials to refrain from words or actions that could undermine national unity and called on them to use all available resources to strengthen public trust.
