Every year, a massive number of Iranian and Iraqi pilgrims head to the central Iraqi city of Karbala to commemorate one of the largest religious gatherings of people in the world along with other Muslim nations.
Pilgrims make the journey by walking and camping for hundreds of kilometers along various routes filled with stands that dispense fresh meals, snacks and even foot massages.
All Muslims will finally convene at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein to pay tribute and offer a religious demonstration of pure love to Imam Hussein.
