Iran (IMNA) - Firefighters Day in Iran became a national celebration on September 28, 1977 due to the tragic martyrdom of Iranian firefighters following an air strikes launched by Iraqi air forces on Abadan oil refinery.
On this occasion, Iranian commemorate the past firefighters who died while serving our communities or dedicated their lives to protect us so well throughout the year.
National Firefighters’ Day is a wonderful opportunity to honour their commitment, celebrate their heroism and appreciate the sacrifices that firefighters make to ensure that their compatriots are safe.
