Isfahan (IMNA) - "Investigating the progress of major projects in Isfahan is carried out every 15 days. The upcoming problems and barriers of Isfahan international exhibition project have been discussed in the meeting," Ghodratollah Nowroozi told IMNA reporter on the sideline of the meeting which was held to investigate the development processes and the upcoming problems of Isfahan international exhibition project.
Stating that Isfahan international exhibition project has improved by more than 10% during the last 9 months and in the period of new urban management, he added: "So far, this project has improved by more than 42%; we hope that the speed of its implementation will duplicate by solving the current problems. However, at this time, a main part of Isfahan international exhibition project debts has been paid and the implementation of this project has been accelerated."
"The municipality, as the main shareholder of this project (70 percent), has a supportive role in the affairs," The mayor of Isfahan emphasized. Emphasizing that the municipality seeks for attracting investors to further Isfahan international exhibition project, Nowroozi said: "Urban management organization and the chamber of commerce, as the main shareholders of the project, will investigate and eliminate the barriers ahead the construction of the international exhibition. Currently, currency problems cause to double the costs of Isfahan international exhibition project; therefore, we are looking for the new preparations to get out of this situation," he added.
