Iran Must Ensure Other Side Honors Signed Memorandum

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the recently signed memorandum was the result of the collective wisdom of the members of the Supreme National Security Council and expressed confidence that it would serve as the central pillar of Iran’s future foreign relations.

Iran (IMNA) - In a post on his X account, Pezeshkian stated that the memorandum was the outcome of the collective wisdom of the Supreme National Security Council, adding that all council members are in agreement with it. He said he believes the memorandum will become the center of gravity of Iran’s foreign relations in the future.

The president stressed the need to ensure that the other side remains committed to the memorandum it has signed, saying, “We must work to ensure that the enemy remains committed to what it has signed.”

Pezeshkian also emphasized that implementing the memorandum would strengthen security for Iran, the region, and Tehran’s allies, stating that “the security of the country, the region, and our allies will be enhanced through this memorandum.”
